Physico-chemical properties of obizi river in awka south local government area anambra state were analyzed for its pollution level and determined if it will be fit domestic purposes. It is significant cooking, drinking, fishing, recreational other uses. flows via a channel that may contaminated by industrial, agricultural, anthropogenic activities, limiting normal uses The parameters includes temperature (°C), pH, turbidity (NTUb), conductivity μs/cm, resistivity mg/l, chloride mg/l. Temperature(°C), (NTUb) mg/l μs/cm was measured in-situ using mercury thermometer with range 100C -350C, pH meter (HANNA H1991002), turbidimeter (Hl 88703, WAGTECH), multi-meter (HI 991300, Hanna Instruments, Romania) titration. results the analysis equivalence world health organization (WHO) limit drinking water From obtained, showed all above WHO permissible except which within water.
